Jinchilla Lodge and Jinchilla Farmhouse are situated on a delightful 130 acre property nestled against the eastern edge of the magnificent Grampians National Park. The property is peaceful and secluded yet only five minutes from Halls Gap. It contains a natural bush trail abundant with native flora and fauna perfect for walking, horse riding and picnics. Bikes are available for exploring around the farm. Please remember to bring your own helmut. The trampoling or sand pit will keep the children happy while you relax Jinchilla Lodge is a modern two bedroom cottage which will sleep up to 7 people with 1 queen size bed, 1 double and 3 singles. Location:

The lodge is a private fully self contained cottage located on the farm and about 200 metres from the farm house. The view is sensational and the native flora and fauna are everywhere.

The Farm House

Room Information:

The upstairs Loft at the Farmhouse is a five square room. In this room is a queen bed and a single bed. There is also a large living area with TV, DVD and coffee and Tea making facilities including a bar fridge and a microwave. There is also an ensuite with a double spa. Downstairs are three more bedooms. One bedroom with a queen bed, one room with four singles as bunks and one bedroom with a double and single. Linen hire is $10 per person and must be specified at the time of the booking. Late linen hire cannot be acccommodated. You are welcome to bring your own linen. Supplied are tea towels, bath matts, hand towels, doonas with covers and pillows. Linen hire inludes two sheets for each bed, towel and pillowcase for each person.

Other Charges and Fees (Payable locally):

The firewood supplied is for the heater inside the farmhouse only. Excessive use of the firewood will incure an extra charge at a minimum of $50.00. Bonfires must use your own wood that is easily gathered off the property. Rubbish must be taken out to the road or a $30 charge will be billed. Any breakages or damage to the property or the furniture will also be charged.

Things to do:

There are bikes supplied for riding around the property. Please bring a bike pump and helmut to ensure you can enjoy your ride. There is also a trampoline and a dam for great summer activities.

Local Attractions:

The Grampians is one of Victoria's most treasured tourism regions with many attractions and activities to undertake. Many walking trails weave their way around the mountainous terrain which is also deep in Aboriginal history. A number of lakes also exist around the region which are ideal for fishing, swimming and canoeing. The Halls Gap Wildlife Park and Zoo and a local winery are also within walking distance. The Adventure Company runs Abseiling, Rock Climbing and Canoeing from the area.
