But more than that we offer you un-interrupted views of the Fyans Valley adjacent to a magnificent and abundant wetland with views of the Wonderland and Mount William Ranges.

The Grampians National Park is one of Victoria’s most popular holiday destinations and Halls Gap is the main tourist hub. Renowned for its breathtaking rocky views, rich Aboriginal culture, European heritage and stunning spring wildflower displays, there is plenty to see and do in this rugged ancient landscape. Declared in 1984, the 168,000 hectare National park is home to a rich diversity of plants and animals, many of which are endemic to the park.

Local Attractions:

Ideally located in a prime position in Halls Gap set amongst the Grampians National Park, Halls Gap Motel is located within an easy walk to shops, swimming pool, tennis courts, children’s playground, restaurants, cafes and bus connections. We are located in the centre of Halls Gap, which is at the heart of the Grampians National Park which offers opportunities for bushwalking, rock climbing, abseiling or just taking in the sights.
We are within walking distance to the shops and restaurants.
Also close by are Brambuk Aboriginal Cultural Centre, Grampians Wildlife Park, the adventure golf centre, pottery and furniture galleries as well as the region’s finest wineries.

Getting There:

You can get to Halls Gap on V-line to Stawell, and connecting bus to Halls Gap. By road Halls Gap is three hour drive west from Melbourne via Ballarat and Ararat, five hours drive east from Adelaide via Horsham, and a two hour drive north from Warrnambool via Dunkeld.

Cleanliness		The motel appeared to have changed hands from the time I booked. I would have liked to have received an email letting us know and also that the previously advertised free wi-fi was no longer available (although I believe they are in the process of setting it up). We also were not told the tv reception was intermittent when we checked in - I found out when I queried if there was a problem as the channels kept dropping out.Otherwise the location was very good and quiet and lovely views and wildlife. Cleanliness		My family got their by 3.00 pm and we were being told that room is not yet ready and cleaned , and it will be ready after 5.00 pm . But the checkin time is 2.00 pm . After the room was ready we went inside finally after waiting for 2 hrs. There was no soap in bathroom. I went to the lady to ask for soap , she said there is one on the window of bathroom but it was a used soap with hair sticking on it , that lady said I don't throw old soaps . I mean how can I use someone's used soap . It was altogether a bad experience for me . This means that the cleaning and servicing of the motel is delayed. We do our very best to please and yes checkin is always later than normal during high season.
