Value for money, has dvd player & video library for free, free internet access but does not work. A little concern about insects as we found a red back spider when we opened the curtains. The host's attitude was quite indifferent initially, I was a bit offended when I went to exchange the kettle that did not work & the host asked whether I knew how to use it. However his attitude improved later on.

Unsere Buchung war dem Motel nicht bekannt. Laut Aussage des Managers war das Motel ausgebucht. Unverständlicherweise stand jeden Tag das "VACANCY"- Schild an der Strasse. Wir bekamen das "Busfahrerzimmer" - vergleichbar mit einem Backpackerzimmer - der Teppich hatte schon bessere Tage gesehen. Das Bad plus WC waren eine Zumutung was den Grad der Reinigung anbetraf. - Lieber nicht!!!

The accomodation is not new, however it is properly furnished with everything you need. The service is great, the finer details were taken care of; like fresh milk and cold water in the fridge. I will definitely visit again, and promote this to others

Very homely atmosphere, a great host ,that cooks a mean breakfast with a smile. Recommend this motel to anyone going to Grampians.

Quaint cabin style motel rooms. Not a luxury motel, but still a very comfortable stay almost in the heart of Hall's Gap. Very generous inclusions such as complimentary continental breakfast and free dvd hire, almost unheard of in budget motels. Very clean, very friendly and we would definitely stay there again on future visits. Oh, and the doorstop visits by the local kangaroos was a very nice touch.

For my 5 night stay l had to make my room up twice and ask for a clean supply of towels, soap, milk, sugar, coffee etc on a daily basis after the first nights stay. A contential breakfast was included in the price however we only got cereals, toast, juices, tin fruit, hot beverages and yoghurt. I would of expected hot eggs, bacon etc. Overall l thought the motel wasn't run efficiently and is in need of a look at. I would not stay again or recommend this motel to anyone.

Great value for money. It is clean and staff very helpful. I particularly liked the fact that there was no restiction on the minimum number of nights, we need more places like that! All we wanted was a place to spend the weekend night. We like to get away from Melbourne during weekends, without having to take time off work or rush through Friday night traffic, so all we need is one night accommodation, something so rare these days. I would definitely recommend this place to people visiting the beautiful Grampians. Thank you.

All fair comments. Given that we are a motel that has a free breakfast in the dining room we do not supply cooking utensils in the room besides from the normal jug toaster etc The shower delivers instant hot water in abundance but I admit the rose is located quite low in the newly refurbished showers. We have recently purchased extensions to cater for taller people and have plans to install these shortly. The feedback is much appreciated.

Very good location, excellent value and very good meals (breakfast and dinner). My only negative was the fitting of the shower rose which was about 40 cm to low and made it very difficult to wash your hair.

The Grand Canyon Lodge Halls Gap was fantastic value and a comfortable, enjoyable stay. I was really impressed with price of the accommodation and what was provided for its star rating and price - a great selection of new dvds, a high quality continental breakfast, free internet access, little extras like biscuits in the rooms. Very clean and comfortable.

I think this was a 3-star motel and I have rated it accordingly. The owners were very friendly and informative and a nice little touch was the availability, free of charge, a wide range of DVD's for loan. I would consider staying at the same establishment again when visiting Halls Gap.
