Accommodating 2 couples in the Boroka Downs tradition of luxury, the Bungalow is well equipped for short or extended stays.

Two bedrooms with King-size beds (or kings twins in one room) and a selection pillows, quality linen with pure wool doonas. Fluffy gowns, slippers and a yoga mat are also supplied for your use.

The living area is a large light filled space with a wall of glass allowing you to view the surrounding countryside. There is Norwegian wood heater with wood and kindling maintained by your hosts. A wide screen digital television with DVD/CD and an iPod dock. The patio area features chairs and a table and shade umbrela in the summer months. There is also a electric BBQ situated here all year round.

Quality appliances in the fully equipped kitchen including a large refrigerator, gas cook top and convection oven, convection microwave, sandwich toaster, dishwasher, double sink, cooking utensils, chopping boards, electric fry pan, saucepans, cutlery, crockery, an automatic Saeco espresso coffee machine.

The kitchen is also stocked with quality Mahalia coffee beans and a 'Tea Tonic' tea chest featuring a range of organic teas. Other essentials include local olive oil, balsamic vinegar, instant coffee, drinking chocolate, sugar, tomato sauce, maple syrup and salt and pepper. Tea towels, scourers, dish clothes, foil, plastic wrap, paper towel, fly spray and cleaning liquids are also included.

The Bungalow spa is located on the outside deck adjacent to the main bathroom; the only thing between you and nature is the bubbles. Only quality Sheridan towelling is used - floor mats, face washers, hand towels, bath towels and bath sheets. A range of Sukin Organics hair and body products are also provided for your use. The vanity houses a supply of tissues, cakes of soap, shower caps, cotton buds, insect repellant, liquid hand soap and make-up removal kits. A hair dryer is also provided.

Cancellations:

Administration policy on refunds: If this property accepts cancellations, the administration fee charged on cancellations by The Grampians Accommodation is 10% of the booking total + the $3.85 booking fee. All cancellations are to be negotiated direct with the property owner.

You'll be in a world of your own There are several walks directly from your door and easy access to all the Grampains has to offer. We believe its important that the enviroment in which we live is treated in the correct way.

Local Attractions:

The Grampains regions offers spectacular scenery and walking, wineries, crafts, gourmet dining and lots more. Or, as many Boroka Downs guests do, you may chose not to leave the property; just kick back and relax.

Getting There:

Driving from Melbourne (allow 3 hours travelling from the CBD): Take the western highway via Ballarat to Ararat. The highway turns right just after entering Ararat - ignore the turn and continue on through the main street of Ararat. You are now on the Scenic Route into Halls Gap (47k) - C222 Continue on to Moyston (15k from Ararat) and then on to Pomonal (20k from Moyston). Pomonal is still 12k from Halls Gap. Travel 5k towards Halls Gap from Pomonal and cresting a hill, you will see the Boroka Downs sign pointing left up Birdswing Road. Drive 500 meters up Birdswing Road, turn left into the property and you will find reception at the end of the 800 meter driveway.
Driving from Adelaide (allow 5.5hours travelling from the CBD): Coming via Horsham on the Western Highway, drive to Stawell and turn right onto the Halls Gap road just as you enter Stawell. Drive the 23k to Halls Gap and turn left onto the C222 - Moyston/Pomonal/Ararat road - just as you approach Halls Gap. Drive 4.5k along this road and turn right onto Birdswing Road as indicated by the Boroka Downs sign. Drive 500 meters up Birdswing Road, turn left into the property and you will find reception at the end of the 800 meter driveway.
Driving from the Great Ocean Road (allow 2 hours from Port Fairy): Drive from the coast (Port Fairy or Warrnambol) to Dunkeld at the southern end of the Grampians. Drive the 60k from Dunkeld to Halls Gap. Continue through Halls Gap approximately 3k towards Stawell. Turn right onto the C222 - Pomonal/Moyston/Ararat Road - and further travel 4.5k. Turn right up Birdswing Road (Boroka Downs sign at intersection) Drive 500 meters up Birdswing Road, turn left into the property and you will find reception at the end of the 800 meter driveway.
