Aztec Escape - Grampians, Halls Gap

We had a wonderful time at Aztec Escape, it was even more beautiful that we expected. Everything was clean and well presented and we especially appreciated that the fire was ready to go. Overall the place was fantastic, I've already recommended it to friends and family and I'm sure we'll be returning again.

We woke up to kangaroos every morning and even saw an emu. The house is great. Our daughters had the best time with all the wildlife. A nice distance to walk into the centre of town. Great trip, we will be back. Matt & Nicky

Aztec Escape is a very well thought of and constructed getaway home. It was very clean and had all the facilities we needed. My only negative is, the spa room does not have a door on it and pretty much looks on into the main room.

We just loved everything about this accommodation. It was bright, modern, clean, the location and outlook were just perfect. Very peaceful. Everything was supplied and whitegoods, etc. were in such good condition. Just absolutely wonderful. Have already recommended this accommodation to others.

We stayed at the Aztec Escape with our two small children. It was a lovely, clean house and well prepared for our visit (portacot and linen provided, fire ready to be started etc). The beds were very comfortable, spa fantastic and overall we had a very enjoyable stay! Thanks again!

We had a great time staying at Aztec Escape. When we arrived the house was really cold but it didn't take long to get the fire going and warm up. The bed was very comfortable and the electric blankets were great. We had Kangaroos in the garden several times and various parrots too. The only negative was nothing to do with the accomodation but the local supermarket which was incredibly expensive.

Enjoyed the stay very much. At the time it was very cold weather and the wood fire worked very well and also the heating. It was a new house and well maintained. Two disappointing points: 1. I had to phone Aztec Escape myself to get the door key number. The owner did not contact me after I had paid for the weekend. I was stressed about this and eventually phoned the number given on the property website. I expected to receive some sort of email confirming the key number. 2. The property was lovely but the kettle was very dangerous and leaked boiling water everywhere every time it was used.
