It was really good and easy. Can't really comment on the service because the door was opened already and we got the details via email so didnt get to meet the owners until when we left the motel to check out, we saw a lady who told us not to lock the door which we assume maybe the lady?

Whilst the cabin was clean and tidy and conveniently located some of its appliances were not up to scratch. The fridge was set so high it froze the milk but when adjusted down it leaked, the TV reception experienced constant interference, there were no towel rails in the bathroom, the front panel fell of the heater for no apparent reason during the high winds being experienced that evening and the steep steps up into the cabin lacked a hand rail. The grab rail provided doesn't really cut it for more than two steps.

Awonga was a great place to stay at an affordable price! Everything that was mentioned in the website was there plus more! Very clean! Brought our dog with us which was fantastic! Bed was comfortable, water was hot and the gas log heater was the best! Planning on using them again!

Enjoyed our stay very much. Dogs were welcome and there was a lovely walking track across the road. Manager was charming and could not do enough for us. Left something behind but a quick phone call attended to that (hasn't turned up yet but hopefully is on it's way). Thoroughly recommended.

We loved our stay at Awonga. It was a lovely surprise to arrive at 9pm in the freezing cold to find the fire on and the electric blankets on low. The cabin had everything we needed for our 3 nights. It's close enough to town to walk in if you wanted. Looking forward to staying again in the warmer seasons.

I could not complain. Service and facilities were excellent. Location was brilliant. It is only 1k from town, which allows you to have a leisurely walk in the morning and evenings into town and back. Beautiful way to end the day when you walk back to your cabin and the room is warm from the gas log fire. Very cosy atmosphere.
