Holdens of Age Car Club Show and Shine – Halls Gap

Written by Marcus Marrow-Stawell Times

HALLS GAP – Proceeds from this year’s Holdens of Age Car Club Show and Shine will go towards Callawadda shearer Aaron Hemley’s fundraiser for Stawell Regional Health.

Aaron will attempt to shear for 48 hours to raise funds for Stawell Hospital’s oncology unit.

Aaron is well known in the district for being a great shearer and the Holdens of Age Car Club thinks he has what it takes to complete the attempt.

The Show and Shine will be held on Sunday, September 12 at the Halls Gap Oval. Entry is by gold coin donation.

The gates open at 9am with trophies and prizes presented in the afternoon.

The categories will be judged by members of the public and entry costs $10 per car.

All makes and models of car are welcome and members from other car clubs are invited to participate.

There will be a wide range of vehicles on display along with plenty of activities to keep the children entertained.

There will also be a raffle on the day with the lucky winner receiving a set of tyres donated by Barber Automotive of Rupanyup.

There will also be a number of consolation prizes.

The Holdens of Age Car Club encourages everyone to go along to the Halls Gap Oval to enjoy a great day out while raising money for an important cause.
